Primary consumers making direct purchases - As frequent vacationers, airline employees devote a greater amount of their discretionary income to leisure travel purchases. Because they receive free or greatly reduced airfare, airline employees spend a large percentage of each allocated vacation at their destination. By offering an attractive airline employee rate or discounts, vendors and destinations can stimulate sales during periods of under-capacity, in the off-season, or even in recessionary times.

Authority figures influence the general public - “Word of mouth” remains one of the most effective and financially rewarding methods of promotion. Knowledgeable airline employees are an excellent source of referrals. As public advisors and experience travelers, airline employees are frequently asked about vacation destinations, sight-seeing, accommodations and related questions by the general public. These inquiries are made not only of reservation and ticket counter agents, but also of flight attendants, pilots and other public contact personnel.

Some of the benefits your ad in InterlineWeekly can bring are:

  • Increased occupancy, sales and revenues year round
  • Knowledgeable airline employees familiar with your company, influencing future travelers with their testimonials
  • Increased referrals in both leisure and business segments of the market
